Caroline & Steve’s day started at the brides family house, which had beautiful light. Caroline had a private moment to read the letter Steve had written for her. The ceremony took place at St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy, which we later learned Caroline had put her heart into this church. Her whole family worked here helping those in need. Dad mentioned the story of how Steve spent his first Thanksgiving with Caroline working one of the hardest jobs in the Thanksgiving dinner that they held at the church every year. It was a sweet story that really showed what wonderful people Caroline and Steve are. After the ceremony we headed for Tift Nature Preserve and had some fun taking wedding party photos in the tall grass. Tift nature preserve is one of Buffalo NY, uniquest areas, it has a very surreal feeling. After this we had some fun at Founding Fathers Bar, which was a really fun and cool stop for photos. All the pictures on the wall and the historical atmosphere made for great photos with real moments. The Statler was ready when we arrived to the Golden Ball Room. After some fun intros and some heartfelt toasts the bride and groom had their first dance. Followed by a surprise dance to ‘Sweet Caroline’ with the bride and her father. Everyone was surprised as they danced to a choreographed dance. There was lots of dancing and a huge party, the bride and groom even being picked up at one point! Overall they had an amazing day filled with beautiful real moments and emotion. We ended the night out front of City Hall as Caroline and Steve took a break from the party.
